An intimate adult only (18+) three-course dinner and show experience exploring the hidden stories and unusual characters of Cambridge across the ages, reimagined through storytelling and magic. Perfect for visitors, date nights, and special occasions, this will be the most magical night out in Cambridge.

Expect the unexpected as you are led into the murky past of one of the world’s most influential cities. Across nine chapters, the show explores key elements of Cambridge's unique DNA, from traitorous spies and dubious spirits to genius minds, and the birth of AI. The show is filled with mind-blowing magic, remarkable facts about Cambridge, and interactive moments throughout. You will be just a few feet away from the action.

What To Expect

General Admission includes a three-course meal in the Tamburlaine Restaurant & Bar before being whisked away to the privacy of the Garden Suite, where you will receive a complimentary drink, and take your seat ready to soak up Cambridge’s best-kept secrets.

Premium ticket holders will have a guaranteed second row seat and will be gifted a signed poster. 

VIP ticket holders are invited to stay behind after the main show for a 30-minute private close-up magic experience. They will see a selection of Matthew’s signature close-up magic pieces first hand and have the chance to ask questions.

VIP is limited to 13 seats.

About your host 

The show is written and presented by Matthew Le Mottée.

Matthew was born in Cambridge and still lives in the city. He has combined his love of Cambridge with his lifelong passion for magic to create a show that is both educational and entertaining, revealing the city in a way unlike anything seen before, and blowing a few minds along the way.

Matthew is the highest-ranked close-up magician in the UK and ranked 28th in the world at the FISM World Championships of Magic. He is also an Honorary Doctor of Magic, a member of The Inner Magic Circle, and the only undefeated three-time Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year.
